"Building Bridges" Project 2026

We support our local food bank (Braunschweiger Tafel)

As part of our commitment to the community, our trainees were once again able to demonstrate what teamwork, responsibility, and technical skill truly mean this year.

Under the guidance of Sören Pape, Head of Vocational Training in the industrial sector, a team of seven trainees set out for a full day of hands-on support. The focus was on the waiting area of the Braunschweiger Tafel (local food bank): their tasks ranged from thoroughly cleaning the waiting areas to painting the surfaces in order to provide lasting weather protection and sustainably improve the quality of stay for visitors.

A poster-style collage titled “Brücken bauen” and “PROTEGO Project 2022” shows volunteers holding a long board and planting flowers to create a new outdoor area for a day care centre.

Amid focused work, exciting projects, and plenty of shared laughter, a special atmosphere emerged that reflects how motivated and committed our young professionals are.

PROTEGO® is honored to be part of this valuable tradition and to contribute our skills and ambition to shaping a better future.

Our special thanks go to Sören Pape for his dedicated leadership of the project, to our enthusiastic trainees for their energetic efforts, to the Braunschweig Food Bank for their trust and excellent cooperation, and to everyone who helped make this day unforgettable.

Together, we build bridges and strengthen communities!
